Please be advised that there will be a scheduled maintenance on VMware vCenter Server and its components on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm.
Virtual Machines will NOT be affected by this maintenance, which can still be accessible using the remote connections such as RDP, ssh, etc.
Following services will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
Logging into the vCenter Server using vSphere standalone Client and vSphere Web Client
Web requests via “hig.eis.utoronto.ca"
RESTful API access via "vss-api.eis.utoronto.ca"
VSS CLI
Any events scheduled to take place while the vCenter server is offline will not be processed (eg. neither VM snapshots will be started, nor will be stopped).
For any questions or concerns regarding this maintenance, please contact vss@eis.utoronto.ca.
