A necessary upgrade of UTmail+ has been scheduled for October 11 to 13. During this time you will NOT have access to your UTmail+. The service outage will begin on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. with service restored on or before Sunday, October 13.
During the outage period, students and alumni using UTmail+ will NOT be able to access e-mail or use other associated Office Web Apps.
Please note that only UTmail+ applications are affected. ROSI (Student Web Services), Portal (Blackboard) and other services using Web login are not affected by the upgrade.
Information Technology Services (ITS) will post updates on the upgrade’s progress at http://systemstatus.utoronto.ca.

Why is this upgrade to necessary?
The University’s UTmail+ is upgrading to Microsoft’s Office365. This upgrade will bring the University in line with Microsoft’s current version of the product Office 365, yielding improved features.
When will my access be restored?
UTmail+ service will be restored as soon as the upgrade has completed. During the outage, progress on the upgrade will be posted at http://systemstatus.utoronto.ca.
Can I still access my UTmail+ account?
Students and alumni will NOT be able to access their UTmail+ accounts for the duration of the outage.
What happens to my messages during the outage?
During the outage, all incoming mail will be queued for delivery upon resumption of services.
What happens after the upgrade is complete?
The user experience of log-in and most operations will not change after the upgrade is complete.
