This Wednesday, January 25, we intend to carry out a major upgrade to the UTORGrouper group management service. This upgrade is being undertaken to bring the service up to date as well as to address some performance issues that have surfaced over the last few months. In addition, this will enable future service improvements to the group service to better support needs across the University.
Throughout the upgrade, the existing group membership information that Grouper provides to UTORable's LDAP, EAD, and Azure AD will remain available albeit unchanged from that morning.
The upgrade is scheduled for an 8 AM start and a completion of 5 PM at the latest. The web interface at https://utorgrouper.utoronto.ca/ will not be available during the upgrade and no new changes will be possible.
We will update this notice as the upgrade progresses.
